Bombardier Inc. > A rapid calculation for Q4
View:
Post by lb1temporary on Jan 17, 2023 8:13am

A rapid calculation for Q4

Revenus of 2,6 B$
Ebitda of 352M$
Operational FCF of 309 M$
FCF of 169 M$

But the more impressive is the backlog at 14,8B$, only 200M$ less than the 15 B$ disclosed at the end of Q3. That means new orders of 2,4 B$ in the Q4.

At the end of the Q4 they have 355M$ more cash than 3 months before (Cash of 1,7B$ VS 1,35B$)

lb1 - Nice catch about the backlog amigo!  You're correct, this is an impressive feat as we were expecting a substantive decline with the end of the year delivery bonanza.

Just a guesstimation here but 400M$ more in revenues with only 3 more aircraft delivered means that,  if those aircraft where sold at let's say 75M$ each (225M$ total), service side revenues were 175M$ more than expected... pretty good numbers there too!

That mean that they can pay debts of 1.2B each year.

Correction: I have to sustract the estimated services revenues for the orders calculation: Revenus of 2,6 B$ Ebitda of 352M$ Operational FCF of 309 M$  FCF of 169 M$  But the more impressive is the backlog at 14,8B$, only 200M$ less than the 15 B$ disclosed at the end of Q3. That means new orders of 2 B$ in the Q4 (jet revenues estimated at 2,2B$ in Q4).  At the end of the Q4 ...more

Everything flows from orders and deliveries, and both were impressive.  Wow.  Let the good times continue.
