for G7500 suppliers issues
I didnt post for long tim evnen i folow daily , but i need to clarify this:
Regarding the comment that bombardier is taking parts from the planes and move them from Quebec to Toronto i would to say you are right .BUT what your friend and you dont know is that :
The planes when the job in Torornto is done are empty(not enough weight ) and they need to go to completion center .They cant fly empty and they are filled with balast boxes instaled in the aircraft on traks. When they arreive at completion center the balast boxes , the traks and many, many other parts are removed and send back to Torornto. This is the procedure.
Beside the fact that if you cant comment if you have no idees wats going on ,you dont think that is kind of imposible something like what you sugest to hapend?

Thanks for posting this. Alot of people dont know how the industry works and make all sort of assumptions. Those ballast weights are required to keep center of gravity of the airplane close to center of lift. Without those interior equipments the C of G of the airplane is outside of stable flight envelope.

Confirms the old adage "A little knowledge is a dangerous thing "

It surely generates lots of talking... If Global7500 had talked about ballast reason, there would had been a lot less confusion and discussion. However, I am afraid that COG (center of gravity) issues were definitely irrelevant to what he was trying to get us to swallow. GLTAL

Bomb2020 is talking about the poster name Global 7500 who had posted about supplier issues. Bomb2020 started new thread to explain its not part but ballast getting installed and then removed at montreal. I think you misunderstood bomb2020 post.
