Q1 prédictions?

Getting close to april 27th, so just for fun we can try and see what Q1 could look like, I say we delivered 27 (added extra 2 non-export) with an average of 55 million each (that was the average for Q4 2022) for a total of 1.5B US, and I say we get arround 425M US from aftermarket (was 400us in Q4) for a total of 1.925B US (+/- 2.55B cdn) too optimist? Sky - I don't have the same numbers you do for Q4's average. Manufacturing and others Q4 manufacturing and others is at 2.226B$ in report and they say 49 were exported (20 medium and 29 large-sized jets).  That gets me an average of a little bit more than 45.428M$ if I'm using your 27 delivered this would get us a little over 1.226B$ from manufacturing in Q1 2023. Services Q4 ...more

For the deliveries, 27 could be a little bit too much. The official count is 25 but two of them are exported to Bombardier Aerospace US, so from the 25 exported only 23 are sales to customers.  On the Canadian side, in an chat session with Poirier of Desjardins, Demonsky said that the luxury tax affected Bombardier and there's no Canadian deliveries since last september. But we could have ...more

Thx for the feedback nobody and temporary, and lol for my manufacturing numbers; I just took the Q4 man. revenus and divided by the number of deliveries (49) and came up with an average of 55m/jet, not to scientifique and did not factor in the mix of jets. was really just ballparked  ;)

lb1, thx for clarifying the likely delivery numbers.  For me, the most important thing will be new orders.  I'm expecting, along with probably just about everyone else, a slowdown, just a question of how much.

according to my records of Q1 2023 exports, bbd delivered 25 bus. jets  10 medium (7CL 3xxx + 3CL 6xxx) + 15 Large (9 Global 6xxx + 6 Global 7500) i hope you find this info usefull in your estimate for prediction of......

Nobody, just re-read your post, yes my mistake; took total Q4 revs of 2.7BU$ for my estimate, should have taken the 2.226B like you did, so yes +/- 45M per jet is the right number. Your estimate seems pretty spot on. And yes as per last post, new orders is what's important going forward, with the projected economic downturn, hopefulluly, as mentioned before, this sector should/could be ...more

That's where Nobody. You beat me to it. I'd say in the $1.6B range in Revs. With $320M in EBITDA.
