Anyone notice the analyst asking about share price today?

The guy rightly pointed out the huge disparity between company results and share price. He told Martel the market doesn't seem to believe what you're saying. Martel, almost with a chuckle, said he won't comment on the stock price. I bet you in private he would say, it's the f-ing shorts who've been manipulating our stock and scaring investors away from it.

He  knows for sure what is going on with the manipulation..but it is abetted by the regulators with the rules as they are set up. I am sure he was biting his tongue at that point

I was pretty sure that question was going to come up.  Another analyst (or could have been the same one) stated he has a ton of emails from investors complaining about the stock performance. Regardless I am happy to see the SP finally reflecting/responding to the companies value today

The more people that thinks the share price doesn't reflect the company' performance the better it is for the ones who have the nerves to hold through the tough times. Like a few mentionned this morning, EM's reaction to this question was telling.  (Fair to say that they never commnent on share price, has it is something they know that no one control or can predict any outcome ...more

There is no doubt about it,,,they will go after it again. As I said before, the only question was when ?   Some may very well be licking their wounds today...But they got a pretty good hold on this trading cash cow Good to see that BBD got a few good licks in for now anyways.   What could have started a rare squeez would have been if these results were coupled in with the flex jet ...more

Nobody, I think that the market has to see the fourth Quarter with clear eyes. If they can't see Q4/23 as a $250M +FCF upside, and everything normal on Inventory Investment for 2024??? Then they are dumb Investors. We both know that the only DETRIMENT to this SP is the "shorting".  The rest of the Investment community knows the value of the Stock. They must all be Impressed ...more

Why is it I keep hearing rumours from Desjardins's and other sources about this sale why is flex jet saying it's coming soon. Well when and how soon is "soon" I was thinking maybe latest 2 weeks but any longer is not considered "soon".

The Dude is working for Goldman Sachs I think... a US firm... maybe he get a nice commission from Boeing pointing that REAL stupid comment that got nothing to do with the ER results... a real clown...

If only Bomber would spend a few dozen million on buybacks, they could really fortify the SP multiple. They still haven't bought any of the 400k shares remaining on the year's NCIB allocation; coulda done so in the low $40s.... Shorts see this lack of action and have had little fear in pushing down the SP over the past 3 months.
Comment by PabloLafortune on Nov 02, 2023 11:26am
Considering all the messes theyre still cleaning up this year,  Pearson expenses, and this being 9 months in with the massive Q4 yet to be reported, Im not sure anyone can stop Bombardier now (from generating serious FCF.). Btw, this is the same movie as LULU vs NIKE vs UnderArmour. They poupood LULU's results until they could no longer. This is how many events play out - gradually then ...more
