i hope this will have positive effect but i doubt kt, as many Gov offecials and other sold clowns will insist  that Boeing’s Poseidon was the best aircraft to meet Canada’s operational needs while USA, and others are moving away to better alternative, instead of this dying elephant

You are right, they will insist that Boeing's plane is the best aircraft to meet Canada's needs, but they have lost all credibility. They say it is the only product available, but they have not even considered Bombardier's or other plane manufacturers offers and only listened to the american ''specialist'' who recommended Boeing as the only possible choice. According

I also worked in government procuring similar services and I will back up GoBomber's comments as well.  You could add certain requirements such as Canadian jobs, etc as well but it was almost always the lowest cost meeting all the requirements.  If what Martel says is true that BBD can deliver the plane at a lower cost than Boeing, BBD will get the contract

Stock, Thanks for confirming that you are in agreement with my post. You are making a very good point about asking for additional  requirements such as Canadian jobs, Canadian Suppliers, Canadian content, etc in the request for proposals from industry. I should have included these points in my post. These additional considerations make it even more surprising that the Canadian Government
