The only problem with that statement is that by the time the government gets around to awarding a contract (in about a hundred years) Trudeau will no longer be Prime Minister.

flyman12,  You're absolutely right, Trudeau will be a long way off when the contract is awarded. However, this news is much more enjoyable and fair than before.

the probler  with this is thhat it is ;iyical issunot reallyu addressing the real problem, and changing it to political issue THE PROBLEM IS AWARDING A GOV CONTRACT WITHOUT OPEN BID FOR ALL PARTIES,,  IF THE GOV HAD AWARDED THE CONTRACT  TO BBD, THE WHOLE WORLED WILL FORCE THE GOV TO AN OPEN BID SO, IT IS A SMART WICKED WAY FOR THE GOV TO DIVERT ........AND PROBABLY WILL END BY ...more

 I guess if Martel had that attiude, he should just shut the doors on Ottawa and call it a day. and throw up his hands and save the gas money for the shareholders..   Is that the kind of attitude we want from the Bombardier leader. ?
