That was the weirdest opening I've ever seen...
2500 shares traded at 9.30 and then not a single share traded for 14 minutes!!!

That's proof that there is manipulation and very little retail ... hopefully that will change soon with Q4 results and 24 guidance .. GLTA

The Canadian street investor has a BBD allergy. 20 years of decline and bad press doesn't easily vanish. There are only two paths to higher share prices. First we would need a significant buying spree among Canadian funds. Or, we list in the US to increase exposure 10 fold.

You forgot the third way: the shorts decide they've beaten the stock up enough, cover slowly and let it run. Like 18 months ago when it went from $18 to $74 in relatively short order.

Volume says otherwise and just begging the shorts to take another crack at it !!

On that note...greed has no empathy if you think they have beaten it up enough, Never enough if they think they can take more. Besdies shorting is a great part of the market now, only difference from stock to stock is the level of volatility it offers and BBD offers plenty.

Hey Club. There has got be a reason for this severe shorting, other than just this short term gain. I think they're all waiting to gobble up cheap shares like Vultures on a carcass. I think these institutions work in unison. Your thoughts?

Thanks Club. Hopefully, maybe 2025 is the year, that this stock will come into it's own. It all hinges on their fiscal responsibility. If they don't find somewhere to spend the extra FCF on, then we're ok. Cheers

Since algorithms help run a large portion of managed money these days, being long and short on most (many) volatile positions essentially helps "managers" manage risk better (profits or losses). Then there's vultures. In other words, not all shorting is meant to destroy companies. GLTA
