The decision of Bombardier Team to develop the C-Series, was a good ... but risky just because we can not controlled the bad influence Boeing are on the US gouvernment.
We know that, Boeing and Trump put a 300% tax protection on the C-Series in order to
block Delta Airline companie to buy the actuel A-220.
This plane has many order from, US, Germany... a real success.

So how can we blame Bombardier for that. They built an excellent plane and
now, Airbus is planning to use this plane to make it longer, for the A220-500.
I hope that will be done at Mirabel.
All that activity bring expertise in Canada in the aeronautical industries.
Can we be proud of this success?
I would be really more desapointed if Boeing were able to grab the C-Series.
They would a have done a complete disaster as they do now with the 737 max.
Anyway Boeing was saying many time they wanted to kill Bombardier.
I am sure that many research and developpement program
in the A-220 are in the Global and Chalenger...

C series was a disaster for Bombardier not because company's managers & owner or plane design failure (by the way, from design to production the trasition was smooth and faster than usual and without major incidents!). Boeing was the only reason for this excelent product dead end for Bombardier ...Trudeau government give Boeing company a contract without biding! At least Bombardier ...more

A poster on stocktwits.com said yesterday at 2:21pm. This is probably the most frustrating stock I have ever invested in. The fundamentals are there, but the daily volume and the stock price seem to be stuck at neutral with the car running at 5000 R.P.M. Getting tired and out of patience!

The Bomber spent about 5 Billion$ to develope the C-series. and the project  was sucessful. The Balbtic airlines even used it as their main airplanes in their schedule flights. It received high praises from all pilots. However it was given by the owner and the CEO Mt. Allain to AirBus for free, all at the expenses of the shareholders. What kind of idiots was that. They should just cancel  ...more

Not $5B, they have spender but $7B! But there is something good that comes out of this! They must of accumulated more than $7B, on tsx loses, if you take about 50% that they won't pay any taxes, will take a certain time before they start to pay on their BJ, and after market service taxes! GLTA!

It was a sad day for BBD and all Canadians to lose the C-Series. Correct me if I am wrong but selling the C-Series helped clean up the balance sheet. Without government support, it was a sinking ship to keep it any longer. The Libs awarding competitor Boeing their military contract, where btw Bombardier didn't even get to make a bid is solid proof BBD is now on their own.

Flamingogold, what do you think about the share price value , after selling all their divisions, a R/S, 25 for 1, and be at these prices, and have the best products that most says! GLTA

Really ?...knowing the eat your own canadian mentality ...I am sure many Cnadians including politicians and some here in quebec were happy to see this failure. just the way it was handled proves to me this to be the case.   The way things are currently handled in this provinve from health care to education just proves again how far behind this province is especially economically which ...more
