And Honeywell is going to appeal the decision and no compensation has been mentioned

You missed the entire point. The obligation for Honeywell to open its books to an independant third party ( which they so far have  refused) will force the cat out of the bag. Of course they will appeal. That's the law. Change nothing. GLTA

When memory suppliers colluded to overcharging PC clients in the 90's notably DELL, they were pursued by the US Dept of Justice and the Competition Bureau got involved as well. They lost, there may have been jail time for some execs at some suppliers, big fines were levied, and there was a class action lawsuit as well.  The govt has powers that private lawsuits companies don't have ...more
