It's sad that he is, in the situation that he is in. But we are all affected by this shorting and we're calmer. He must just be too deep into this. That's what happens when people invest too much, of what they don't have.

Man it's super creepy but tremendously sad. Hope he seeks help. Stocks are a long term game. Not an overnight fling. Hope he can weather the storm and find peace and composure.

I'm hoping many of you other longs are emailing investor relations to ask why management hasn't amended the normal course issuer bid to allow for greater buybacks during this period of irrational undervaluation, or at least implement a small dividend. It really feels like BBD doesn't give a damn about shareholders.

Irresponsible to declare a dividend now. Unfortunately, BBD is not the Canadian government where they can hand out money they don't have and not expect consequences. They need to stay the course, it's working except the share price doesn't reflect it. Eventually it will.

A dividend here, if ever gets enacted, for most street investors is a token gift but nothing to depend on unless you own half a million dollars in equity. If you want a dividend, buy the prefs from FFN. It currently pays over 9%, it paid even during covid when many div stocks stopped. It's about as exciting to watch as paint dry but one doesn't hold it for the cap gain. It's a bit high
