This stock is way undervalued.
Hi Temp.
Just so that we have the right understanding here. According to TD/Cowen they have a target for GD at $284 to $315.
These GD targets are in US dollars. The GD franchise (Gulfstream) is garbage compared to the Bomber franchise. The truth is that the Bomber Pure Play, just started to compete seriously in this segment. The Bomber has since (2022) overtaken Gulfstream as the Number 1 OEM in Production Levels. Especially with this 150-155 production target for 2024.
I have a feeling that we will hit the $200 CAN SP range in 2025. By all rights we should be more valuable than Gulfstream. The only difference to me is that GD is a military powerhouse who gets all these military orders from the US government, so the Gulfstream SP is slightly convoluted. If we start to get some military orders soon? We'll hit those high SP's too. JMHO
"We forecast 2024 and 2025 EBITDA margin of 16.0% and 18.0%, respectively, with margin
expansion driven by higher aftermarket services revenue growth, increased deliveries, and
mix shift. Our 2025 adjusted EBIT margin forecast of 12.9% compares to GD's (BUY; current
price $284.94; target $315.00) 2024 EBIT margin guidance for its Aerospace segment of
15.0%, suggesting additional upside to margins in the long term, in our view."

"the cream always rises to the top" In the USA yes, not in Canada. Investors on this board know this is true because we had to give away the CSeries program for nothing. The only way I see BBD rising to the top is a US listing. Until then, we are just a sidebar story beside every other big US company.

You and I are on the same page Flamingo re US listing. Its too important of a global company to just be listed on the TSX. Reminds me of Lululemon when they dumped the TSX and went NASDAQ only. The uproar didnt last long....Global Western companies trade in the US. Period.

Most U.S investors wouldn't want to bother converting to CAD (and back again after selling) to buy TSX-listed equities. And separately, most U.S. brokers probably don't give self-directed retail clients the option to buy OTC securities.

US investors aren't allowed to have $cdn accounts period. I tried that for my brother, a US citizen and resident with zero luck US investors also won't look at anything on the otc, and if they did they wouldn't take it seriously

Solid post! I suspect you are correct in your assumption about a US relationship moving forward. This would be a fuse for share price:) GLTA

Hi Pablo. Thanks for the kind words. Likewise. I understand what you mean. I'm getting pissed with this heavy manipulation though, which I think is coming through the US. So ya on the end, we could get some support from the US in the military side for sure. Let's see where this SP is heading? Yes there is room for everybody as you say. No doubt.

True, we still have the Investors Day news coming May 1rst. I'm trying to get the invite to see Pearson too, we'll see if I can. You're right $100 will be enjoyable. Though if we hit $120, I would love to see the 3 for 1 forward split.
