The most difficult moves are ahead.
Buying is the easy prt of investing.
Selling is far more tough. Nobody wants to left profits on the table.
Many options :
Waiting again ?: In the past days, many hours with only tiny transactions, SP stalling till a smal surge; but at the end of each days, we had 1$ or 2$ more. Today, we have a more steady volume. Is that last many days ahead?
What is the apex ? 75$, 78$ 80$ ? or will it pull back to 68-70$ till the summer?
Or, if we don't move, the SP would be higher at dec 31 anyway; For the long term, the risk is low; all fears has been erased by the management presentation.

All good questions. Probably the safest move is to just stay long. Take a small percentage of your position off the table only if you need the money now.

I was thinking of a post like this one. Moving from 'when is is going to move up?' to 'Wow... into some nice money now, should I sell?' ... different kind of greed, or want. Another patience muscle has to be trained now... lol

Nobody knows. But since my ACB was at 51$ (bought in january of this year) Selling today at 74$+ for a 50% profit in less than 6 months is making a lot of sense. Enjoy the profits !

I hedged 6.25% of my comically overconcentrated, leveraged position by selling a handful of covered calls ($76 strike, July exp.) when the SP hit $74.30. Letting the rest ride long-term.

Bombardier's,calls are expensives; so why did you buy so longs ones?. At this prices, only short game could be done. (may 17, may 24...) with profits.

Indeed the calls are expensive; that's why I sold calls, lol.

No, I mean why doesn't buy 2 or 3 weeks call instead of months long ones. I sold some may17 calls today (boughts 2 weeks ago) for a 4,5 fold profit.

To be clear I didn't own any calls prior; I sold to open the position. It's just hedging part of my long shareholdings - a small portion that I don't mind being trimmed if it comes to it.
