IMO, BBD MANAGEMENT will not and should give in, in my opinion, they offered a reasonable offer to employees who got greedy trying to squeez a bit more imo, bbd management should just sit and employees will come back accepting last offer as employees are loosing a lot beeing on strick

Living in the Toronto area is very expensive. In addition, a large majority of employees work overtime to pay for many of life's pleasures. I forgot, the holiday by the sea should be coming soon. Will they have the financial means to entertain themselves?

The problem is the cost of living in Toronto is going up and up (crazy traffic). Bombardier should put themselves in their staff shoes and see what actions they can take to help them.

That's definately part of it. The other is that they probably didn't get their full increase in earlier negotiations, but the Quebec unions got their full increase of 6% pay raise according to inflation in 2022, so they're probably saying what about us? Plus now they know that the company growth is reliant on Pearson, so therefore the hammer. Ya RE prices here, are still nuts.
