Count

Guys this board is focusing on the wrong thing. Yes the count has some importance but hitting 150-155 as Martel predicted will not drive the stock. Yes it has some importance but do we really think the sp will crater if we hit only 149? Or do we think it will appreciate that much if we hit 156? I doubt it. The stock will be driven on new sales with the potential tariffs and if margins have improved vs last few quarters as that is what caused the stock to drop previously.

let's stop wasting time counting deliveries!

Cjohns08, you may be right BUT MORE DELIVERED JETS = MORE MONEY IN THE BBD ACCOUNT WHICH MAY POSITIVLY AFFECT FREE CASHFLOW THAT MAY HELP STOCK PRICE !!!

Agree but the market will react more positively to a 1.1-1.2 book to bill and higher operating margins vs delivering 155 planes at the top of the range. We have seen how many straight quarters where we have held pace on delivery numbers and the market doesn't react to it. It's an expectation at this point.

I've been saying this till my wits end. I keep telling the dreamers focus on backlog and book to bill. Nothing else really matters 20 billion dollar back log will shut a lot of mouths up.

Thing about book to build is as production increases more sales are required to maintain the ratio. Anywhere close to 1 : 1 is good and indicates strong growth.

Cjohns - Here you are assuming some of us think that a delivery target reached or missed by 2 or 3 aircrafts is more important than a good book to bill or better margins, I think you haven't thought things through before posting this. Everybody know that book to bill and margins have a bigger impact on the sp, and everybody is already looking for info on aircraft deals being signed. the only ...more

I think its all important.  Deliveries and increasing margins to pay down debt and ensure guidance from management is continually being met Book to bill just needs to hold at 1.0x or better.  No one is waiting 3 years for a jet as broken record Transit keeps saying with his $20 bil backlog which given the lower average cost of Bbd deliveries (becauss we sell way more 3500s than 7500s ...more

I've long wondered why private jet buyers, on average, are supposedly far less patient than commercial jet buyers. Never seen the reason(s) mentioned/discussed by Bomba, the investors here, nor anyone else.  Maybe I missed it.

The more money you have, the more impatient you are!

Truth here is your answer. This is a post of mine from last week. Read the first paragragh and you'll understand. When a person has money they don't have the time to sit and waste and see whether the huge commercial manufacturers such as  Airbus or Boeing will have production room in their backlog to get a plane manufactured. The Charter operators are dealing with the rich too, so ...more
