Impact to Boeing if Trump implements tariffs on Canada

Didn't the liberal government agree to replace their aging military aircraft with Boeing fighter jets? If so, wouldn't Boeing lobby for no tariffs if it could jeopardize the sale? Sorry if I have my facts wrong.

They are spy planes not fighter jets and they are destined for Canada,  made in Canada so tariffs don't apply I agree thou if Trump tariffs aerospace it does make sense to immediately tariff Boeing, Airbus, Gulfstream, Lockheed Martin etc planes destined for Canada
