another fair value calculation

I pulled another analyst report for GD/Gulfstream in an effort to open another window in trying to find a fair value for BBD.

They give a 18.9x multiple on 2025 FCF.  I am going to say FCF for BBD is $1 Billion x 18.9 /98M shares = ~$193USD = $264.40 CDN/share.

I fully recognize GD has other military divisions but its near impossible to derive FCF just for Gulfstream as previously discussed.

Thanks Chris, while Tempo1 would appear to support a fair valuation of $125 from their post last week, I disagree.  Tempo1 if your fair valuation isn't $125 please feel free to correct me but I also never saw how you arrived at that number either. I am simply using multiple angles to determine a fair price.  I also think the analysts lowball their numbers and as the SP reaches their ...more

Agreed Temp. Further there is no way to separate the Revenues of Gulfstream, from GD either. We can never figure out the reality of what Military Revs are really assigned to Gulfstream from the GD parent. If they (Gulf & GD) file their Tax separately? Then, there might be an advantage to load Gulfstream if the Tax benefit is there. Meaning if Gulfstream has a tax advantage. Otherwise the Revs ...more
