AGM motion - Nasdaq or NYSE listing

As mentioned to 859, here is the email I received from Francais Richer de la Fleche regarding adding a motion to the AGM to move the US listing to the Nasdaq or NYSE

So here is the question, anyone support getting this motion to the AGM?  I don't know anyone with 1% of the shares lol, and 5% of the shares to me means 4.9 million shares (5% of the 98M float)

Here is the text from our Proxy Circular (page 74):
"Proposals with respect to any matter which persons entitled to vote at the 2025 annual meeting of shareholders of the Corporation wish to raise at such meeting must be made pursuant to the provisions, and subject to all conditions, of the CBCA, and must be received by the Corporation no later than January 27, 2025. "

You will need to consult the CBCA rules to ensure that you have a properly documented shareholder proposal. I will add that to be eligible to make a proposal, a shareholder must, amongst other requirements, have been a holder of at least 1% of shares of the corporation for at least 6 months as of the day the proposal is submitted. Alternatively, the shareholder must hold shares valued at least $2,000 and obtain support for the proposal from shareholders that own at least 5% of the shares.

I thought I would bump this.  any traction on this because it seems like a monumental challenge just to get it to the AGM

Good luck. i emailed the head of IR last year about a US listing.  He replied, which was nice, but didn't give a good explanation of why they weren't interested. I posted about this here, as I've been advocating for such a listing, to better open the investment opportunity to the deepest pool of equity capital in the world. Currently, here in the US, it's an illiquid OTC ...more

I agree, but unless people who own 4.9M shares are willing to step up and support the motion there is no point in pursing this.  You are the only one who replied which tells me no one is interested so I am not willing to do to the work. I also agree with you in general no one in the US has heard about the stock.

Truth, no one seems to bite on the few sites I have posted this so I am not going to spreadhead it.  It would appear no one cares about a Nasdaq or NYSE listing. Management isn't going to listen to individuals on a major issue like this, the only way to force it is send it to the AGM for a shareholder vote.
