Example of the social risk

From Aviation International News:

"The UK government will impose a 50% hike to air passenger duty  for most business aircraft charter flights beginning April 2026."

"The most expensive rate for private jet flyers will increase from £607 to £673 in 2025 and cost £1,141 per passenger from April 2026." - yawn, like a business jet owner really cares when they probably burned $20-30k in fuel to get there https://www.independent.co.uk/travel/news-and-advice/air-passenger-duty-rise-tax-cheap-flights-budget-b2638803.html

Yes, for aircraft weighing over 20 tons, with 20 seats or less, such as the Globals. I did cater to many of these individuals flying the Globals and believe me, $1500 or so per passengers will not deter them from flying. My best customer use to fly alone on his 5000, from Ontario and Qubec to England and Switzerland on numerous occasions!
