Wow, shorts have covered almsot 5 million shares in the past 1.5 months. No wonder the 3:59 pm dumps to lower the share price.  Thanks for sharing.

Spot on. There will be a whole lot more shorts covering with the Ex-Dividend date right around the corner. As a long time holder of BCE, I am very unhappy with the SP drop. Like I said earlier, very glad that I sold off most of them at $64, but now it is time to start buying them back. $14 discount and an 8% dividend on a Blue Chip communications company that is part of a three company Oligopoly

Curious isn't it that despite all those shorts covered since Jan 15, the shares actually tanked during the period   somewhere around $56 to $48!

That unfortunately is how shorts try to cover lower by driving the price down. Like many have noticed, the shorts manipulated the share price lower by dumping shares at the end of the day around 3:59 pm in order to have the price close at the low and creating panic selling. At any given time of the day, short traders borrow shares to drive the price lower and then try to cover them plus however
