Hi everyone! I am fairly new at investing. I was wondering if most people would consider the dividend from BCE to be safe over the long-term? Any help is appreciated, thanks.

Nothig is gurarantied but, very very safe. The divy is safer now than before. Is it safe for 20 years maybe but, know ones knows for sure. At 8%+ it is better than ANY GIC you may get

I don't understand why you have to put your money in the misery of this BCE dog, when there is tons of better choices.  I hold AD.UN , DIV ,DBM, ENB, EIF, FCD,KEY, PLZ, BIP.UN ,BK, CPX ,C, MAIN, MKP, PPL, SPG, SRV, SRU, BCE, SIA.
