BCE Preffereds

Does anyone here own the BCE Preferreds? Many are down around $14, so if they did get back to $25, it would be a nice gain. But they thing I don't get is the preferred yields are less than the common, so why not just buy the common and have the chance for unlimited upside?

Any thoughts?

https://finance.yahoo.com/quote/BCE-PR.TO/?p=BCE-PR.TO These preferreds are at $13.68, so even under $14. The yield is 5.25% as the dividend is low, but any thoughts on buying this vs. the BCE commons which yield 6.55%? I can't see why BCE would call in these preferreds at $25 when it is such a cheap source of capital.
