BCE Dividend 9.89%

and locked in for year.  Payable in cash or DRIP your choice.

I guess its 11.89% if you do the DRIP?
Comment by RayDonovan78 on Nov 04, 2024 3:44pm
On the DRIP you get a 2% discount on the shares not an extra 2% Divy. So no it wont be 11.89%
Comment by mnztr on Nov 04, 2024 5:03pm
You get 2% on the price of the shares so you get 2% more but of course you are paid out in shares and not CAD.
Comment by RayDonovan78 on Nov 04, 2024 8:01pm
You only get 2% discount on the "DRIP" shares purchased, not on your current holdings so it does not equal 11.89 %

How can they maintain that div at 9.89% going forward?  There's a "first" for everything, including not raising the div this year as I heard it on the business news.
