Check out Canaccord's price target. It's lower than today's price. GL

Analyst target prices may be impacting the sentiment today but I've never found them to be of any use in determining whether to buy or sell something. Their targets tend to move with the share price. Use analysts for their knowledge of the industry but not for their conclusions as reflected in a target price.

Who cares what analysts say? They are a completely useless group of people. They throw a lawn dart. And then run out and put the target around where it lands. Useless. Pay no attention.

Lorne Steinberg was on BNN today. He owns and holds BCE. He said it was an acceptable investment at this time. He hopes that the CEO knows what he's doing. He is not selling the stock.

In your previous post you call all analysts useless and not to pay attention to them, and only 2 mins later you mention Lorne Steinberg saying BCE made an acceptable investment and that he's not selling the stock. I guess for some people, analysts are useless only when it doesn't fit their narrative. SMH. GL.

Lorne Strindberg is not an analyst.

Lorne Steinberg is a respected investment advisor. He has his own webcasts. He chews up analysts and spits them out.

"Lorne received his MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and his BA from McGill University. He has been a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder since 1996." Guess his website is fibbing ;-)

I guess you're making a big deal out of nothing. What is your point? Anybody that watches BNN knows that Lorne Strindberg is a featured guest on Market Call and is not considered an analyst. Spend your time researching more important things.

An incredible opportunity with a +10% dividend. Irresistible and will benefit anyone who purchases now. How can you say no? The next one dollar dividend comes soon.

The last one dollar dividend BCE paid was 4 weeks ago when the sp was $46. So shareholders received a dollar div and lost over $7 in value. Yup! How can you say no?

I make money every time I buy the stock. Volatility is what creates the opportunity. You have to be fast. If you're slow and get caught up in nonsense, you will not win.

TD's Vince Valentini has had a hate-on for BCE for years. He was hot on CCA (Cogeco) all the way down from !00+ to 60. I don't trust him for a NY minute.
