LodeLink is a Game Changer

Anyone who's interested should go do a deep dive into the LodgeLink website to see what it offers. More than just booking travel and accomodations for business travel, it has full tracking and reporting capabilities that are going to make it a no-brainer for other corporations to utilize in order to better track their travel and accomodation expenses. Companies that use LodgeLink to book their workforce's travel and accommodations will save a lot of money by using the platform, so it is going to become a no-brainer for North American businesses. Company employees will be able to use the LodgeLink platform themselves to book travel and accommodations, allowing their company to easily track and manage budgets, spending, reporting, etc. Also BDI recently acquired Aero Travel in late 2019 which is a Calgary based travel agency I think. I somehow missed this key detail, but I would imagine this will help their rapid scaling. 

This is quickly becoming a HUGE asset for BDI and provides BDI with much more upside than in the past. My guess is that a company like Expedia or other tech traval company will be taking a serious look at what BDI is doing here with LodgeLink. They're filling a HUGE gap in the market with a huge benefit to the users of the platform. 

The most recent invetor presentation on pages 17-20 and 29-35 give pretty good insight into the platform and the market. In a post-covid world, the uptake on this should accelerate exponentially I am guessing.

I've always thought it was a great idea, but was never sure if BDI would be able to execute on it to turn it into what it is now and what it may be in the next few years. Exactly! This will be a big winner for BDI. The opportunity exists because the logistics of workforce travel are complex and dated. The opportunity for this disintermediation is huge and why this is going to be great! I think you're bang on. They're talking about hiring up to 600 employees in the next 3 years, so there's no way they don't already have sollid traction. The uptake is clearly there and only going to grow exponentially. On its own, LodgeLink may outvalue the rest of BDIs core business at some point. It will take some time but it is already past the "project" phase. They
