These posters show up spit something out that makes no sense and never back it up with anything of substance. They are just part of what's wrong with the markets. Yup you need nerves especially with Bir more volatile than most hopefully that slows down as debt gets repaid and the divi becomes a reason to invest. Right now that goofy divi could be going against debt reduction. Looking forward ...more

Yeah the paltry dividend is useless especially when one can be up or down 6% in one trading session. Jeff will continue to pay down debt. I bought another 1000 shares today , think the selling today is a little over done but I have been wrong before.

Maybe Jeff will put out the "For Sale " sign again. He's probably looking to retire soon and may as well go out on positive note.
Comment by PlutusofCrete on Jan 13, 2022 12:01pm
I've been saying he might sell as a way to retire. However, given the mgmt changes announced in Q4 2021 - I expect Chris Carlsen will be the future CEO of BIR. Just wait 2 years.

Smashed under 7 with shorts pilling on this trade again  with AAV both are down 5-6 % now while others 1-2%

Wow just a house wrecker for gas today should own more oil than gas I guess

These posts are definitely a reason to bulk up on BIR. https://www.naturalgasintel.com/natural-gas-prices-hit-historic-999-mmbtu-high-as-unrivaled-cold-strains-supply-fuels-record-demand/ That's the $999. Read industry rags to be knowledgeable in your company. Next, look at the FCF. The idea of paying the debt to zero is plain nonsense. These businesses have been valued as corpses for so long ...more

But wait there's more. Who knows the relationship between WTI and HH pricing? And who knows about the new gas processing capacity on line? How long does it take to price a deal? Wouldn't it be nice to buy BIR for $10? Highway robbery. The cash flow is worth how much? And how high can natgas price go? Ask the Europeans. Ask physical traders who understand the spot market of natgas. About ...more

DeepV ...good grief $1.25 annual divi? We are at 4 cents. I can't even begin to decipher your rationale for your numbers. What time frame are you thinking? Seriously you think we can get Europe prices? When? $22 a share? When? Stock soon to reprice shorts? Huh what? I don't see your logic shorts love Bir They never cover and play it like a fiddle. Most shorted gas stock in the sector...I ...more

Definition of Free Cash Flow is the amount that the business could freely distribute to shareholders. How much is that per share 2022? Value forward 2023. Didn't say we can get European prices, but did explain enormous price variations. Natgas will be towed by high oil price. Do forsee short squeeze to boost BIR to $14 range and foolishness for JT to sell at $10. This business has been in the ...more

This is so funny to read this board  as ppl expecting lofty targets like 20,s ,,while stock is struggling badly while other O&G stocks to new highs almost every day like Nva Pou cpg and so on this stock is laways a laggerd and shorts lucky charm
Comment by robert41 on Jan 14, 2022 11:50am
Yah the 22 is a joke for sure. All oil weighted stocks are out performing us big time which makes perfect sense. The shorts love Bir check the short reports always a big position here. Maybe one day that changes. I bought a little more today first time since summer 2020.
Comment by PlutusofCrete on Jan 14, 2022 12:19pm
I don't think we have much to complain about. I believe BIR was the top performing stock on the TSX composite last year.  Despite the talk of being heavily shorted. We met all the criteria to be put back in the index before all other mid and small cap producers. BIR mgmt is playing the long game here and I'm fully invested in the strategy.  SP at $9, $15, $22 - are all possible ...more

I don't see anyone attacking each other just trying to keep it real. And a little venting given I watched and didn't buy enough oil focusesd CO's. Really hope Jeff has some great news next week . We know they are making cash hand over fist.
