Groundhog Day Storm

Does not look to be a repeat of problems last year (in Texas) in term of cold

However this storm is going to have a lot of ice on it's southern flank and there
is worry that a lot of the windturbines are going to get shutdown.

I think the market knows gas spikes due to weather are short lived ...provides a nice few days for the unhedged like Birch what we need is consistent decent prices would love to average $4:50 all year! Probably more realistic is high $3's Right now $5.00 bucks but that will change quick. JMHO

I am keeping on eye on inflation and other factors that might determine the level at which the price settles. I am hoping it is a lot more than what you say. The sector production and storage  levels should make that clear over the next few months. If the industry can meet the maker needs make a decent buck at 4.00 then I guess that is what it will be. Forgot to mention. I know a storm and a few odd BCF is not going to make any real difference. I was trying to draw peoples attention that every form production has it's advantages and disadvantages. If you derive  a big percentage of your energy fom wind and that goes down it could be very costly or even deadly. Also the winter is shaping up to be cold as some said it would be and this ...more
