Unfortunately any spikes in gas are short lived small paydays for gas companies. We need sustainable decent pricing. We also need Jeff to deliver! And communicate in a meaningful way to shareholders. Why no buy backs now is because of capex? What's the plan for the divi? Communication is key BIR just seems to lack in this department! Jmho

Short lived small paydays? Short lived - yes, maybe. But if gas were to spike to $10 US then BIR would making somewhere in the neigbourhound of $5M/day on thier gas alone. They would not need many of those to make a difference. Try thinking of it like a rent paying off a mortgage... I don't see how that's possible I just don't think our supply is any where close to being that constrained relative to demand and as more oil comes to market in North America which it will and gas is a by product that will that will increase supply. I know everywhere else is expensive but it doesn't seem ...more

Production has been pretty flat  all over. I will try to show you some figures some time. Energy companies still obsessed with paying down debt, buybacks ... If you own a fertilizer or synthics plant or whatever  here in north america you are going to be trying to convert as much gas into product as you can. You are getting unbelivable prices around the world. Energy Services ...more

I agree with you on energy services I haven't bought any but I'm looking. I've owned Bir since spring 2020 so I'm happy except for the last two months but oilier stocks have taken a front seat for good reason. I hope Jeff addresses why they stopped buying back when they release the numbers on the 9th... I'm sure he'll be on Bnn at some point.
