Don't give yourself away AB. I with Plutos - threaten to go down with the ship if necessary. Thats what it takes sometimes with Natural Gas related stuff. Still a no show on the EIA US Coal pricing data  - two going on three reports late/missing now. Last published price for the Appalachia stuff was $5.55 btu equivalent basis vis a vis  natural gas. And don;t forget coal plants have ...more

Birch is lowering debt.  This is so important.    Natural gas etf, Hnu or Hnd, can be profitable but risky.  With Birchcliff there is less risk if one plays swings.  Long term, Birch looks very attractive provided there is no major "event" that comes out of left field.   In a fair world, your point of view makes much sense, which I agree with.   ...more

Fair Enough AB. Either by manipulation or  opportunism  the pressure has come off  a key commodity (NatGas) - but very serious  structural problems exist that will not be fixed with a few months of Freeport LNG being down and some  wishful thinking articles in the press. If crude oil were to come down 20-30% I will be convinced something has changed from 3 weeks ago. The ...more

Thnx AB. The German Greens surely are a funny and dangerous looking political animal. Someone once told me "never trust anyone under 50" Judging by thier mugshotsin the aricle  those two German "greens" look very green to me.

Barkis, here is a persons response from the article... A responder from an article… Our politicians are indeed dumb, but they have nothing to say. They are just following orders. After all, they were made. Have a look at WEF’s Young Global Leaders program or Tavistock Institute. They are useful idiots to the ones that are really in control. When others realize as to what is truly happening, ...more

Btw, a few leaders went rogue allegedly....we will see how things play out.  In the meantime, swing times with natural gas.

I believe we have seen the bottom of nat gas prices for quite a while. Very low inventories in both Western Canada and Eastern Canada will be very supportive this fall. In the meantime, however , further outages of LNG plants on the USGC due to hurricanes could be a risk factor. So for the next few months we need to keep a wary eye. Longer  term ,there is only one direction and that is up !! ...more

My predicted Natural gas range has occurred.  Will there be volatility?   If there is a recession, the $2.50 to $3.50 range is possible?  The key is to make money or preserve cash while not getting caught in a major down draft?   Be careful, the casino controls the chips? Good luck to all.   Will the ng price spike a bit? Will the ng price fall further? Flip a ...more
