Well all things considered that is a surprise. I am seeing 8 million shares shorted as of Sep 30. Tempted to short natural gas futures some more if anything just to see what these shorters plan on doing here. Inventory injections should be pretty strong over the next couple weeks - are they counting on that to help them cover?

Sorry if I am sounding hard on those who sold BIR short but the proceeds of those short sales belongs to those that bought in at higher prices. The company is well managed and should be debt free any day now and the prospects going foward are excellent. I really thought the shorters were holders of the some of the preferred shares and would have converted thier preferred shares to cover thier
