I agree with the article for the most part especially when the buybacks are basically taking care of the options cashed in by insiders which unfortunately partly what happened in 2022 at birchcliff. If a company is debt free and has a healthy divi then I'm ok with buybacks, at the end of the day a low float is a positive.

Great read Buger , thanks for posting , i never liked buybacks until debt free status, ie PNE debt free for 6 months and builds cash ,pays dividend . I'm not promoting pne has i own  BIR as well. I was in business for 40 years , paid down debt when i could , once debt free i expanded and made big profit for years without bank loans . I also hate the fact they all give themselves options ...more
