I wish I caught this sooner.  Definitely sell all of it if you can.  Bitcoin is a true bust and will continue to trend downwards this year and years to come.  In short, it was a "one hit wonder" and it's now played out.  Hope this helps.

you are really stupid, BTC is heading above 40K in the next week and BITF @ 5-6 is a no brainer
Comment by Billmarryme1977 on Jan 13, 2021 1:06pm
I'm really stupid?  I'm guessing you're getting defensive because your investments are plummeting.  Please prove me wrong, I dare ya.  Facts are facts.  All you have are bold predictions because you "hope" it will go @ 5-6.  I'm sorry for your loss.  Better luck next time!

Just noticed you joined Stockouse yesterday, your mission to save inexperienced investors? Agree, Bit coin is highly volotine, losses and also gains possible, 8 Days ago I bought BITF at $ 2.32, now over $ 4.00 Bitf still makes good money at $ 30,000 and I am holding.

Given increases in network difficulty though, I expect average cost for Q4 2020 to be closer to $10k, and Q1 2020 approaching $15k. Sorry, just saying it like it is.  Margins are still great, just not sustainable.
Comment by Oilersgoforcup on Jan 13, 2021 4:21pm
Good Post....but i expect average cost's higher ......margins will drop 3%-5%...just my guess thou...good luck to all !!

Please educate yourself before you come barking at me... https://www.cnbc.com/2021/01/12/kevin-oleary-on-why-he-wont-invest-in-bitcoin-btc.html

I never said you were stupid, just that calling an end to the (near) trillion dollar phenomenon that is bitcoin and furthermore blockchain technology, which in my opinion has myriad commercial and practical applications within everyday technology, is naive.  Time will tell, BITF is still cheap if bitcoin maintains current levels, and I expect it to do very well if bitcoin moves higher.  ...more

I was referring to scarri101 as he replied to my post and called me stupid.  He/she needs to stay in their own lane as I can't be blamed as they lost all of their investment to Bitcoin.  I call it how it is and it is trending downwards and will continue to trend downwards for years to come. Mark Cuban and Kevin O'Leary know what's up: https://www.cnbc.com ...more

I don't trust bitcoin - when it gets too expensive they will simply start using some other coin, it's just a computer program after all, you can make as many of them as you want
Comment by scarri101 on Jan 13, 2021 6:45pm
sure !! and when amazon is to expensive , we'll use another company !!
Comment by E17 on Jan 13, 2021 12:20pm
Whether bitcoin is here to stay or not remains to be seen...given bitcoin volatility, and recent run-up in price, it is a risky bet either way (long or short), so certainly do not invest more than you can afford to lose!
