Please endulge me
What is BITCOIN? It's entrenched within our global economy with too many players to mention. Most people don't even know how a computer works let alone "how it thinks". We can take a snapshot with our phones and like magic, some little chip made of silicon saves an exact copy of that image, and we can recall it just as fast and easy. How does it do that!?
Yeah, yeah, ones and zeros in a row yada yada yada. But could you draw a picture or explain the mechanical process just as you can with film? With film, it's the light hitting the film or glass plate and chemicals on the plate react to the light in shades which give us a picture. (in a nutshell)
Not so with silicon chips, not metal, made from sand? Millions of electrical impulses creating and saving information in nano seconds. A lens, focusing on an image is then transformed into millions of electrical impulses to create and save an exact "photo" of that image in a nano second. Nobody really cares how it works, it's a tool or toy that does cool things. With the world filling our minds with random input all the time, we have no time to inquire or seek knowledge, it's all bread and circus.
Something so amazing, unexplainable and futuristic, yet EVERYONE has one, on their phone no less.
So what is BITCOIN really? What will it become with the help of AI? Are we creating an evironment for AI's future? What is the future of AI? Is AI a what, or part of a who? Are BITCOIN miners training AI? Is AI training the miners?
If and when BITCOIN has no value as a currency generator, what will become of the 100's of millions of miners on every continent throughout the globe? Are new untapped abilities being hardwired into ever advancing miners for future implementation? What might those be for? Can you imagine the computing power available if all miners globally were brought together as a single connected entity controlled by AI?
I know, it sounds like 1964 when a cop talked to a TV on his watch, that was upgraded from a radio watch from the 40's.
Bread and circus, while we understand less and less everyday.
