Selling into strength until the smoke clears
I have decided to sell off some of my BLX on the strength this morning. BLX is no longer oversold after the rebound this morning. However, the economic climate that took it to its recent low, namely high inflation and the threat of rising interest rates, is still with us and the smoke hasn't cleared yet. I think any prudent person who is holding a lot of BLX at the moment would be wise to do the same as I'm not sure that we won't see some more downside in the stock.

Selling 3 days after a washout bottom is not usually the optimum strategy.

Well, it's worked well for me so far as at the time of writing BLX is trading well below the price I sold it at. However, I have used the proceeds to buy BEP.UN as I find it to be the better relative value. GLTA.

Some of us are investors, not burger flippers (slang for daytrader).

Agreed, many of you are yo-yo watchers, exercising your eyeballs passively watching stock prices move up and down. On the other hand, some of us are smart enough to profit from such moves. Having moving into BEP.UN, I'm laughing this morning after it announced a major acquisition. This stock will soon soar. Go to the BEP board to learn more.

BEP and BLX are two sides of the same coin. Chart patterns are very similar. Both stocks should do well this year. At this time I prefer BLX.

BEP and BLX are companies in the same industry group, renewable energy companies, not two sides of the same coin. BEP will outperform BLX because of it's recent acquisiton of Urban Grid. The analysts should chime in on this acquisition any day and they will love it giving the share price of BEP a boost.
