outstanding quarter

debt is still dropping way faster than forecast. The production increase was also better than expected. Wake me up in October when this one is surging higher

Wow yes it was. Much better than I thought, Much Much better. Only thing was not sure how much debt they have remaining. Not that worried about it. I do beleive ALL the big boys carry a $hit load more debt than BNE.

Can't deny it.  That was a well executed 1/4 and the numbers show it.  One thing I am most impressed with out of all of it is the decommissioning liabilities are dropping very quickly.  This in itself is an eye catcher for any prospective buyers should they surface at some point.  It's almost more important than the debt dropping like a rock. The quarter looks good. I don't understand the 40-100 hedges...cap the upside, open downside is a waste of time and money.

The hedges with floor @48 are old hedges for Q3 2022 entered in Q2/Q3 last year. New hedges for Q2 2023 are in the range between 70/80 up to 100 USD which is ok. As I understand, BNE enters hedges starting about 1 year in the future...this can be seen when comparing Q1 und Q1 reports...
