Not to worry

Opec will announce cuts. Driving season is here,
Bonterra shoring up debt reduction.
And who knows if Biden will fill the reserves.

Not expecting any further declines, as production scales 
back with some, that only leads to supply issues later.

You realize BNE has had a rig working in May...think was like a week ago plus they completed 6.4 wells in April.  Still going to be a capex for Q2. Don't you find it odd BNE is drilling in Q2?  I assume this rig will work all of June. Do you think after 6 months of 2023....BNE will even be zero on FCF....they need to make up alot for Q1.

I don't find it odd, I find it in the company news releases and the corporate Dec. see page 7.  minimal capex in Q2, 7.7 wells coming online for Q2 - most of which were drilled in Q1 and brought on stream in April. Which is why production hit a peak of 15,400 boe/d in April.  You are too used to the constant surprises with missed production, lowered type curves and debt drama ...more

I think getting the bulk of the drilling done in q1 and q2 is a great thing. Why ? Simply more revenues for the company 6 months from now. Without drilling you have a company wasting its time. And they hit some pretty nices holes as well. They paid back alot of debt so far, and it makes sense to now grow the company and with increase revs, they can pay the balance of the loan quicker, and the ...more
