LNG Canada Gas Usage news

Hey, just wondering if anyone has heard anything about Gas flow into the CGL pipeline, or how much the LNG facility is starting to pull.

i was under the impression CGL was filled with gas this summer, LNG Canada previously disclosed an capacity they'd use 0.4 BCM on production, of 1.8 BCM of LNG. 

So by my estimate LNG Canada startup should use about 20% of CGl capacity on startup, and increase till late winter to full capacity. What are your thoughts on how that draw will affect AECO prices?

LNG Canada will have the impact of strengthening gas prices as it ramps up. What would really turn gas prices higher is a cold winter. Although storage is full, storage is insufficient to maintain gas supply in a colder than average winter. Combine a cold winter with LNG Canada and we could see a major step change in pricing to over $5 aeco in very short order. Conversely another warm winter would ...more
