Sept and early oct

These conference presentations are during sept and oct...I don't think can be more "promoter like" right now as aeco was under buck in September.
Really bad luck timing wise as operational things seem to be in track in these new plays.

even if these wells can payback decently on oil content the price of ng has to get to a level in which gas plant costs are covered. Ng from cl can't be losing money.

i think all of the cardium companies will have to hedge more as soon as prices get better.

The real change that LNG brings is the ability to work off inventories more quickly. Too bad they were delayed a couple years.

November cant have October weather or a ...more

Just about fell off my chair when I saw natty back at 30 pennies.  a truly bizarre weather year.   makes me wonder how ugly it would get if the LNG facilities in Kitimat had serious unplanned outages.  Once up and running they need to diversify into a couple more markets. Just having AECO exposure will never be smart again.  Hopefully the mainline tolls get more ...more

Spot went to 30 cents again because win energy forecast for the weekend was quite high and it has happened. 1-3 days out the grid forecasters are getting really good at predicting. so the 1 bcf ng producers are shutting in to lift ng to 1.50 is being offset by 1 bcf ng power demand. as soon as wind stops this weekend aeco wil; bounce to 1.20-1.80 as production shut in.   storage is so ...more

Also, LNG Canada is increasing flaring and startup this week. Refrigerants were added, gas use should increase heavily over the next few weeks.

Would be nice to see a substantial increase by LNG Canada.
