Buy backs and dividends

I keep yammering about this but it is clear that management plans to implement it asap.

They comment about it in every public event now.

They had to get production up two years ago and they needed to address high quality drilling inventory.

Shame about the crazy collapse in gas prices.

As capex is eased down a little the debt is getting reduced quickly. ROC shortly.

Looking for someone who's been in BNE longer than me (1 year) avg cost $5.70 - do I bail out or does anyone see this recovering in the next 12 months? Serious answers...and I am okay with people saying it is a lost cause.

Keep.  I think it will hit $ 5,70 in Q1.  and they may want to hit the $ 7,75 warrants in Oct but that looks challenging to me. Though not impossible.  Don't forget they will pay off the expensive debenture nxt Oct. = Diff company with int cost reduction turning into FCF. R.

I guess what I'm asking is will the company be able to pay the debenture or I suppose refinance with a new lender ...more

They can simply replace the debenture by much cheaper bank debt or renegotiate (part of) it.  and they will have built some cash by then.  How much depends on oil & gas prices.  R.

Appreciate the insights R. Thank you. How long have you been invested in BNE?

I'm one of the older timers, unfortunately I jumped in catching a falling knife in the Oil Crash years ago, never sold out as it's in my TFSA thus can't get Tax Loss treatment for it. Have bought more in the past couple years to be ready for the phoenix to rise from the ashes... or something like that... If/when things go well with Nat Gas pricing, things should really take ...more
