trust

If I was in management i would suggest taking 75 million and giving it to them and try to build some trust.

You need to take 75 million and give it to a government that doesn't comply with ICC rulings, orders a private company to produce while freezing bank accounts and has connections to the mob to build trust?

I'm with you on that one.

There is a way that both parties can come out of this as winners but it will take trust and leadership from both sides Why not combine the $52 million penalty with an offer to buy Albetrol. The Gov't was willing to sell this asset last year and as many of you remember had to shelve it because of a false bid by a corrupt local.   This is a way both parties can say they have made progress ...more

This's called double down in Casino. What if the Albanian Government lets BNK leverage itself to buy Albetrol and then turn around and seize the whole company again. Even if this issue is resolved with a compromise,  the stock won't jump back to where it was before this fiasco started.  The market will attach an increase risk factor based on how the government has handled this.  The stock must now deal with a deeper discount.  Third world investing.

This is my view also. Even IF this is settled, what are the long term repercussions of the relationship? I mean, when you cheat on the date once, is the trust the same?? Someone said it already, where is the rule of law in a banana republis like this. They don't see far enough ahead to see how this is going to have long term effects on joining the euro, borrowing and investments. Let Putin have ...more
