Albania orders Bankers...?

Albania will have to order the workers to work... and for free, since Bankers can't pay them due to frozen accounts.

How will Albania do that? Will Albania show up at Bankers with Police? Or perhaps the Army? Or maybe they will just use "dictator's favorite" ... men in balaclavas

It will certainly be interesting to see. Does the Canadian government give a care... get involved? Has the investment community spoke up? Has the EU said "boo"..? What about NATO, Albs want to join but are behaving like any other commie dictatorship. Why would NATO want anything to do with them? Take 'em anyway just to piss off Putin? Investors seem to be the only ones who care and ...more

Good questions all. Add this one. Will the Albs "detain" Banker's people? Charge them with 'treason', 'espionage' etc fill in the blanks. (working against mother Albania) Bottom line, will the Albs take hostages?

I think that cooler heads will prevail.  Right now, there is some posturing and saving face going on.  Eldorado Gold recently went through something similar in Greece. I don't think that the government can stop them from slowing down or shutting down operations and I doubt the Albanians have the expertise to keep it going if they "nationalized it".  The workers will ...more
