Bankers Petroleum Ltd. (TSE:BNK)‘s stock had its “outperform” rating reissued by FirstEnergy Capital in a report released on Thursday (last week), AnalystRatingsNetwork.com reports. 

The stock currently has an average rating of “Hold” and an average target price of C$3.13.

how would that be a 'Hold' giving the target price $3.13?!! Shouldn't it be Strong buy instread?

Their 'Hold' recommendation (because the upside is only 63.5% at their own target price) is a riddle wrapped in a mystery inside an enigma. Tender/Buy with a target of $2.20 is far more common. And more logical. Almost every share traded in the last 6 months, and most of those traded in the last 9 months are in the hands of someone for whom $2.20 is a worthwhile profit.
