In retrospect, had I known the hoops that would need to be jumped through, I would have dumped the shares like many institutions did when the deal was announced. Now, ya have to hang in until the money shows up. Like QD says, it could be any day now. I hope.

Just think how freaking great it will feel to wake up to the done deal press release  and then take some profits and get "never f'cking again" tattoed on the back of your hand  - don't ttake that wrong I expect it closes ,................ but holy FLIPPING FRACKING MOTHER OF MARY

With every day that passes the probability of this closing decreases. SP would suggest I'm not alone in thinking this.  Today's volume of only 98K has to be concerning.

Gibbon you little monkey. How the heck do you interpret that a lack of volume means the more likelihood that the deal fails. There is no connection. What it means to me is that every who wants to be long is long . If the deal was off the stock would be trading much lower. Unfortunate is that there's no transparency . Nobody knows aside from perhaps the insiders. So whatever fantasy you might ...more

To some degree, we still move with oil, which took a rather significant dip today. If anything, I'm impressed with how well BNK kept it together. That said, I do expect an uptick in volume/price towards the end of the month since that's when we typically get peak optimism. If there's no real news then we'll flutter back down again. Understandably though, not many people want to ...more

what do you mean "impressed with how well management has kept it together"? The only thing holding this together is the buyout.  If not for that sp would be in the .50 range on a good day. The Company is deep in the red and cannot afford to continue with the losses.
Comment by braincloud on Aug 23, 2016 8:15am
The company is on life support just like every oil company and is showing losses. That said the EOT is working very well and the balance sheet is still in good shape . You are wrong when you say the stock would be at .50 , more like $1.30-1.40 IMO based on historic Brent and BNK charts. There isn't any threat the the deal falls apart. Even if SAFE doesn't come through in the slated time ...more

gibbonsj, what richc3 said was that he was impressed how well BNK (not management - that's a different matter) has kept it together, during the oil price dip. As your claim that "the only thing holding this together is the buyout" may not be too far off the mark, it is a very good sign that BNK "kept it together" while the oil price dropped. It indicates that most holders ...more
