Price action BNS

It struggled a little to go over $70, but today easily pushed past $71 (intraday)! The market is telling the analysts their targets are too low, and that this is an undervalued mispriced asset! It will continue to do well as long as we hit a soft landing and not some kind of significant recession! Of course it's new strategic direction also needs to translate into continued improvement in earnings in the coming quarters! GLTA!!

It's irrelevant to me I own both of them! But I firmly believe there is a greater runway of price appreciation with BNS than CIBC! CIBC in my view is at or approaching fair value! I do not see this to be the case with BNS which is in the early stages of a strategic shift in direction. No guarantees but I like the new strategic direction of BNS and despite prevalent views, they have many ...more
