A Few Things
Hi there,
I agree with Pierre, what a month watching the BPO prefs storm back. And good on Pierre for reminding us all in Nov and Dec that the selling pressure was due in a big part to tax loss selling. If you followed Pierre's advice you have done very well!
Couple other things:
(i) Still no press release from BN on the date of their earnings release....this is unusual. If it does not come today, it is then Monday at the earliest (Jan 29!).
(ii) My favourite N series has found buyers for 2.7 million shares since that innocuous BPY 6-k filing back on Oct 23 - crazy! And as Pierre reminds us, there is 9 series of these resets and I assume they have similar volume.....that is a ton of stock getting absorbed across all 9 issues.
Have a great weekend!

BN earnings call Feb 8 per the investor relations page. I think it has been up for a couple of weeks. Weird no press release. Maybe a goof? https://bn.brookfield.com/news-events/events

Hi again, Yes, February 8th is what is says on the Events page of their Investors site. The major subs, BAM BEP BIP BBU, all issued press releases for their earnings date and conference calls, yet BN has not. I believe they will issue such a press release. Might be absolutely nothing, but I say its, at the least, unusual. Have a great day, Carena

I emailed investor relations last night to ask iif no press release because details are TBD. Press release just came out. Must have been an oversight. Shareholder activism lol.

Good morning, Thanks for the post..... I can't believe it was an "oversight" but I will look forward to the BN earnings release on Feb 8. These releases can be delayed for mundane reasons such as scheduling conflicts but they can also be delayed because they are trying to pin something down or get something completed. Have a great day, Carena
