I decided now to Delete the information I provided

about the Guarantee.   I've gotten no support, just attacks.

The Guarantee is the single most important information/document pertaining to BPO Prefers.

You all can do your own work, or ask Carena, Pierre, Sonoffergus for details of the Guarantee.

If you search, there may be reminants of useful information, details, from others responding to my posts on the guarantee, or I could have miss deleting some of them, I do post a lot.

All just my opinion/view/thinking.... Both Carena and Pierre have been going through ALL my post past few days, maybe weeks....

What support are you expecting on this? The guarantee is provided by BPY and certain of its subsidiaries.  That's what it says.  That's what BPY's financials say.  BN is not a party to the guarantee.  Full stop.  Drive on.

Hi Sonoffergus, Thanks for your post. May I ask, in all seriousness, how long did it take you to conclude on this matter?  Or could you say if it was closer to (i) 60 seconds, or (ii) 8 hours or (iii) 1 year. And furthermore, in order for you to conclude, did you have to read the entire agreement (ie word for word for legalese word?)  Thanks, Carena

Carena asked "in all seriousness, how long did it take you to conclude on this matter?" It took me two (2) minutes - slow - but English is not my first language!

Well hi Carena. Close to (i), but I did have the benefit of having previously read the disclosure in BPY's financials (which you had pointed to in many of your posts on the matter). That said, I did spend an extra minute looking for a surprising, and previously undiscovered, guarantee not described in the financials. Alas, I am not getting that extra minute back. Best, Sonoffergus

Hi again, Thanks for the response.  That is what I figured.  Time is money. Have a great night, Carena

SONOFFERGUS you are correct BPO was privatized by Brookfield Property Partners (BPY) in 2016 and its preferred shares became backed by a “full and unconditional guarantee” from BPY. BPY is not guaranteed by Brookfield Corporation (BN). The same question was asked from 5i Research   5i Research Answer: BN does not have a legal obligation to the preferreds. That being said, a ...more

Hi Pierre. Indeed, I recall you posting this and I agree with 5i.  Some might even say "believe in Flatt."  Not everyone though, lol.

Hi Pierre, Thanks for the additional context from 5i. The word "Bingo" comes to mind. Have a great night, Carena
