Pershing Capital

Good morning,

Another day, another new nickname..lol.  There has been r-tard, pigeon, pigeon-head and now stooge.

Anyways, Bill Ackman's Pershing Capital has released its shareholder letter and on page 10 there is a section devoted to "Permanent Capital".  He articulates it in a different sort of way, but it demonstrates that perpetual capital is critical to any business, including Brookfield.  We are all nicely invested in a critical aspect of a long term business.  In Pershing's case, you better have faith in Bill Ackman and in Brookfield's case, you better have faith in Bruce Flatt.

On its own merit, permanent capital is low in status but it usually pays well.  So yes, Flatt Flatt Flatt is my mantra.   If you are a small investor you need to make yourself knowledgeable but if think you need to read every word single word of every SEC filing (eg a guarantee) and think you are gettting yourself ahead of Mr Market....I wish you good luck!  However, chastising others for not paying attention because of this, makes you a complete moron, to put it as nice as I can.

Here is the link:

Have a great day,

Carena says "So yes, Flatt Flatt Flatt is my mantra."    What a moron.   All just my opinion/view/thinking/learning a new nickname

Hi again, As Sonoffergus told us yesterday, you don't get back wasted time. In that regard, reading Buffett, Flatt, Ackman and whoever else you or the market looks up to, in my opinion, is a much better use of a small investor's time than reading the output of rules established by a government agency such as the SEC. I have and others have politely asked Crazy to stop the name calling ...more

Stop wasting your time with all the "Flatt, Flatt, Flatt" and do what you told me to do... READ the Guarantee !!!!    Stop being a moron spending all your time looking to/listening to others and go read the single most important document pertaining to BPO Prefers.   I will admit, you are correct on ONE thing, going "all in" without "knowing" ...more

Cut to the chase cray-cray.  What is the easter egg in the guarantee that we are missing? C'mon, the anticipation is killing me.
Comment by CrazyTrader on Mar 26, 2024 11:04am
Go read it for yourself.  EOM
Comment by CrazyTrader on Mar 26, 2024 11:06am
it only takes 60 seconds to read and understand according to carena.   so why not read it for yourself?
Comment by SONOFFERGUS on Mar 26, 2024 11:14am
Read, understood, reported on, moved on. What is your reason for being here?  Seriously.
Comment by CrazyTrader on Mar 26, 2024 11:15am
Stop BS, go read it.

Hi Sonoffergus, There are no "receipts" or "easter eggs" coming from Crazy...I can "guarantee" that!  Carena

EOM.

SONOFFERGUS wrote "... Read, understood, reported on, moved on...." I did the same.  I read it and understood its legal meaning. Furthermore, last Summer/Fall, I offered links to that information to a poster (who does not know me, my investment experience or size of my portfolio) who now claims - over and over - that I never read it!  How could he possibly know that? That ...more

More BS.... Show everyone proof, just post page 3 of the Guarantee, I posted pages 1 and 2 already before.   I will stop this thread if you just prove to me you read it.... in fact you don't have to read it, just post page 3. All just my opinion/view/thinking.....can't trust a word you say anymore.

“Bermuda Holdco” means BPY Bermuda Holdings Limited; “Bermuda Holdco 2” means BPY Bermuda Holdings II Limited; “Bermuda Holdco 4” means BPY Bermuda Holdings IV Limited; “Bermuda Holdco 5” means BPY Bermuda Holdings V Limited;

NOPE... Nice try.   Clearly you don't know who all the Guarantors are, even though I posted them before.   In fact, one of my post listing the Guarantor was still up today, I just took it down.   You can't even do that, repost what I posted already online about the Guarantee let alone something "new".  All just my opinion/view/thinking
Comment by SONOFFERGUS on Mar 26, 2024 2:49pm
Ah yes, you've uncovered my ruse.   They let you take off your straightjacket to type, you absolute loon?

Hi again, So I will say with conviction that Crazy craves attention more than credibility.  So back to my shining examples of what not to do as a small investor: (i) Never bring a knife to a gunfight. (ii) Learn to read the room (iii) "Guessing" is a terrible Investment Philosophy. Run from people who admit they would guess with their money or worse, yours! Have a great night ...more
