This is what Brookfield should have done with the NCIB.....
Just target ONE of the Prefers, idealy one that is resetting soon that can be redeemed with a high outstanding short volume.
Shorts will come out to short short short to keep that share "in line" with all the others.
Brookfield wouldn't need to "Tender" or "redeem for $25", crazy shorts will provide the shares.
For example, if Brookfield kept buying the A's, pushing the shares to $16 today, for sure Shorts will come out to short the A's.
