Happy Thanksgiving!

Hi there,

It was right around this time last year that the BPO pref shares were approaching their bottom on extreme fear.

All us BPO preferred stock investors can be "thankful" things seem to now be working in our favour!

Good morning Sonoffergus, BRE has been a great income stock since at least 2015. I have watched it and watched it and never pulled the trigger. Don't forget, I am the one with over 100 securities in the portfolio already...lol! Good morning Carena. "I am the one with over 100 securities in the portfolio" That is impressive. At one time we had 35 to 40 securities. We cut it down to 25 to 30 in the last few years. That is all I can manage, giving each secutiry a bit more weight while still being well divercified. Our largest positions remain BPO.PR.T and ECN.PR.C Happy Thanksgiving

Happy Turkey Day everyone. Yes we have a lot to be grateful this year, specifically the market action on those high yield preferred and common shares. BPO.PR.T and ECN.PR.C have been stars with above average tax advantaged dividends and capital appreciation. We are not selling. BRE (formerly Brookfield Real Estate Services) keeps paying over 9%.
