At $80 Oil

Anyone want to chime in on a resonable share price value for Batex at $80?  Assuming oil stays around this level for some time.

Not long ago I thought $80 was ridiculous, but now it's very real, and real this year.

Lina, at 80 oil and a dividend the company was trading at 34.00. History will repeat itself!

WTI at $ 80 is very possible indeed but this can't happen without India who is the third largest oil consumer in the world. Right now, this country is heavely hurt by COVID but as soon as it's get back on it's feet, we better hold on to are hats.

Also they hedged at $53 for next year so they won't get $80.  Also they have diluted their shares massively with 570 million shares outstanding.  Last time oil was $80 they had half the share count.  Stock prices are based on perceived future value and BTE is trading as if oil is expecting a big drop.  Let's face it, the cyclical and volatile nature of oil means you are ...more

Unlucky13, I read a post a while back where you claimed if BTE hit $2.00 before $1.00 when it was somewhere in between, you would leave this board forever. Will you honour that, or was that just a lie? Please let us know.

At stable 80? Rough napkin estimate on the increase in fcf 20*80000*90 = 144M plus the 70 they just generated That cleans out all debt in 8 quarters 8 years of drilling targets left, 860 fcf per year, roughly 7 billion in fcf, 550M shares out Doesn't include Clearwater Stable 80? Well north of 10 bucks a share

I dont think BTE SP will be north of 10$ if WTI is 80$... When Eric Nuttall was interviewed in Market Call on Apr 30, his forecast of BTE SP is 2$ (if WTI is 60$) and 3.60$ (if WTI is 70$)...  Riding on these estimates, my forecast of BTE SP will be 8$ if WTI is 80$.
