to attract some investors.  You have the FCF, if debt is cheap enough, leave it alone and do something to effect the share price.  Teach the nay sayers a lesson and give us your money for standing by you.

WCP I agree right now no excuse. Cancel dividend...result maybe shares go down a bit...now take all that money and buyback as many shares as possible and plug all FCF to share buyback. Benefit also if shares go down buyback is greater! BTE is 5months away..at these prices they should be able to do something starting in Q1-2022...if the WTI forward contracts hold.

In order to do so, you need to  have a better financial situation. A bigger debt ratio means a higher interest rate and you don't want that. On the contrary, you want lower interest rates to improve your financial situation. Buying back shares or paying a dividend may improved the sp for a while but not on the long run.Let's not forget that this stock was under $0.50 a year ago.It' ...more

If only it was that simple ....... this country has been brainwashed into believing O&G is done and Alberta is the enemy . That all falls squarely at trudope's feet and the liberal party of eastern canada . The left is waging a propaganda war against the sector trying to divert investment into "alternatives" but in reality , their cure is worse than the dillema .  EV's ...more
